Google Fitbit Versa 2, a smartwatch, has been having problems since the latest software update.
Many Versa 2 owners have complained that the upgrade rendered their phones useless, as reported by GizmoChina.
The report claims that specific devices were unresponsive after installing the update; this may be the result of an issue that has yet to be fixed.
Users have claimed that the touchscreen on their Fitbit Versa 2 has stopped working, which is the most common complaint.
Despite hopes that all unresolved issues would be addressed in the newest firmware update for the Versa 2, version 35.72.1.23, several issues remain.
Note that not all Versa 2 devices experience this issue. It may be unable to get through the lock screen in affected devices, and rebooting the device may not always help.
Users who have posted complaints on the Fitbit forum have also claimed that a factory reset doesn’t really fix the problem.
Additionally, users who have previously set their Versa 2 devices to factory settings reported not being able to pair the device with a smartphone afterward.
