Global Processing Standardizes on New Relic

New Relic, the comprehensive observability platform tailored for engineers, has announced that Global Processing, a digital financial services platform supporting renowned brands like Ualá and facilitating over 2700 million transactions in 2023, has chosen to standardize its observability practice on New Relic. Leveraging New Relic AI, an in-platform generative AI assistant for observability, Global Processing has streamlined and scaled its onboarding and data correlation processes, resulting in a significant reduction of alert noise by 50% and an enhancement of IT outage resolution capabilities by 30%.

As a prominent digital payment solutions provider in South America, serving a diverse clientele ranging from traditional banks to fintechs and neobanks, Global Processing prioritizes compliance and platform reliability. Previously, engineers struggled with alert fatigue and fragmented data across multiple dashboards and tools. With New Relic, Global Processing has embraced a mature observability practice, eliminating data silos, accelerating onboarding, and facilitating swift issue management. By leveraging New Relic’s suite of tools, Global Processing can focus on innovation and platform enhancement, ensuring an outstanding customer experience and fostering business growth.

Key implementations and benefits include a 50% reduction in alert noise, enabled by New Relic APM and New Relic AI’s ability to deliver pertinent alerts to engineers promptly. Moreover, there has been a 30% improvement in mean time to resolution (MTTR), as engineers can now prioritize issue resolution over manual data compilation. Additionally, Global Processing has experienced a 10% faster platform onboarding process, facilitated by New Relic AI’s user-friendly interface, allowing engineers to obtain rapid answers through plain language queries.

“One of the things I love about New Relic AI is that you can ask questions about your own telemetry and New Relic‘s documentation. We were having trouble with some configuration files, and we couldn’t get on the exact configuration parameter we needed to change. We asked New Relic AI and it pretty much answered that for us. Before New Relic AI, it was trial and error,” said Global Processing Observability Team Lead Santiago Lator. “I don’t want to be the gatekeeper of information. Tools like New Relic AI really help. If you’re not used to these platforms, you can get lost quickly. With New Relic, anyone can access information instantly—that’s one of the greatest virtues of New Relic AI.”

Alongside New Relic AI, Global Processing utilizes various capabilities of the New Relic all-in-one platform, including APM, configured alerts, log data integration, and the infrastructure agent, ensuring comprehensive observability across its operations.
