Global Money Exchange Launches “Global Pay” Mobile App to Accelerate Digital Payments in Oman

Global Money Exchange Co. LLC (GMEC), Oman’s leading money exchange company, has announced the launch of Global Pay, a new mobile application designed to deliver secure, convenient, and inclusive digital payment services. The app is powered by Comviva’s mobiquity® Pay platform and marks a significant step in GMEC’s digital-first strategy, closely aligned with Oman’s national vision for digital transformation.

The Global Pay app has been developed in partnership with Comviva, a global leader in digital transformation solutions and a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra, part of the Mahindra Group. Built on the mobiquity® Pay platform, the application is designed to offer a robust, scalable, and secure digital payments ecosystem, enabling users to manage everyday financial transactions with greater ease and confidence.

With the launch of Global Pay, GMEC aims to enhance access to modern digital financial services while supporting Oman’s broader push toward a cashless and digitally empowered economy. The mobile app reflects GMEC’s focus on innovation, customer convenience, and financial inclusion, positioning the company as a key contributor to the country’s evolving fintech landscape.

Leadership Presence at the Launch

The official press meet in New Delhi was attended by senior leadership from Global Money Exchange, including Sheikh Ahmed Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Sheikh Azzan Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Rohit Nair, Simranjit Singh, and Kingshuk Debnath. Representatives from Comviva were also present, including Rajesh Fondekar, Head of Product Management for FinTech Solutions; Sadiq Pasha, VP Solutions & Delivery Management for FinTech Solutions; and Nitin Vyas, Senior Director Solution Sales for the Enterprise Business.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Sulaiman Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman, Global Money Exchange said, “The Global Pay App enables secure and efficient local and international payment transactions.
