Galaxy Watch 5 and 4 Users Receive One UI 5 Watch Beta 4 Update

As July comes to a close, Samsung has commenced the distribution of the fourth beta for participants in the One UI 5 Watch program. Galaxy Watch 5 and 4 users have been notified about the availability of the One UI 5 Watch beta 4 update through Samsung’s community forums.

The latest beta update, labeled as firmware version ZWG7, has a file size of approximately 300MB. Although the changelog is relatively modest, the update promises enhancements in terms of initial speed and battery consumption for the devices. Additionally, Samsung has addressed issues related to a “brightness control error with touch bezel” and made corrections for watch face color errors.

Participants in the beta program can now access these improvements and fixes, as Samsung continues to refine and optimize its upcoming One UI 5 Watch software version.

Shortly after the One UI 5 Watch beta 4 was released, users have unexpectedly reported receiving a stable version of the update on Reddit, as highlighted by SamMobile. Interestingly, it seems that only those already enrolled in the beta program are receiving this “stable” build. As of now, the stable version has been spotted in the U.S., but there is a possibility that it may also become available in other regions. The unexpected appearance of the stable version has left users curious about the timing and wider rollout plans for the One UI 5 Watch update.
