Freshworks Appoints Shelton Rego as New VP of Sales to Accelerate Growth in India

Freshworks Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH), a leading customer experience and employee engagement software company, has announced the appointment of Shelton Rego as the new Vice President of Sales for India. Rego’s primary responsibility will be to drive the company’s growth in India, enhance its market presence, and deliver value to a rapidly expanding customer base. Rego brings a wealth of sales leadership experience from his tenure at Jio Platforms, where he served as country head for Jio Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Reliance Group. His previous roles at leading software companies like Google Cloud, SAP Concur, and Oracle further solidify his expertise in sales, business development, and customer acquisition.
