Everyone with a valid Aadhar Card Must Get Blue Tick Verification on Twitter – Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut has expressed her support to Twitter and the new boss, Elon Musk. The dhakad girl is very active on social media platforms including Instagram. She is known for her upfront remarks on social and political issues.

Kangana’s Twitter account was permanently suspended on 3rd May 2021 after she shared her views in a series of tweets after West Bengal Elections.

She has praised Twitter as the “best, intellectually and ideologically motivated”. The statements came after Elon Musk has taken over Twitter.

Apart from supporting the $8 fee for verified accounts, the Bollywood actress has also demanded that everyone with a valid Aadhar Card should be eligible to get a verified blue tick.

Her Instagram stories section stated, “I could never understand the idea of verification that some selected few get, as if others don’t have an authentic existence, for example, I will get verified but if my father wants a blue tick then three to four clowns will dismiss his very identity as if he is living some illegal life…everyone who has an adhaar card must get varied simple as that,”.

“Also paying a certain amount to maintain a Twitter account will only help it build its integrity, there are no free lunches in this world, have you ever thought all these platforms that you access freely how do they sustain themselves? They don’t just sell data, they make you a part of them, influence you and then sell you (your voice, consciousness) every single minute of the day, and that’s why there is no free will in such platforms, so it’s not a bad idea to try to build a self-sustaining SM platform…it is easy to arm-twist a bankrupt company even if it intends to hold a high-value system sooner or later it will have a price tag,”

Indian version of Twitter, Koo App already offers the self-verification feature to anyone with an aadhar card. Kangana Ranaut has also an account on Koo with over 1.2 million followers.

The new boss of Twitter has decided that the company will charge USD 8 monthly for Twitter’s subscription.
