Gigabyte Technology has announced the release of their new AORUS Gen4 7300 SSD, a high-performance PCIe 4.0 SSD with read speeds up to 7300MB/s. The device is equipped with a select Phison E18 8-channel controller and advanced 3D-TLC NAND flash technology, which allows for faster random access rates and improved performance compared to previous-generation PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs. The SSD is available in 2TB and 1TB variants and comes with a unique packaging design that allows users to choose between built-in heatsinks or the enclosed heatsink that comes with the SSD to prevent potential throttling. The device also features GIGABYTE’s exclusive GCC software management platform, allowing for an overview and adjustment of the SSD’s status for optimal performance.
