Delta IT Network (DITN), a Delhi-NCR-based IT solution enterprise, has been selected by Suvidha NGO to deliver smart classes across six states. The initiative aims to enhance educational infrastructure in rural schools, providing state-of-the-art learning environments for students.
Collaboration for a Cause
Suvidha, formally known as the Society for the Upliftment of Villagers & Development of Himalayan Areas, has a long-standing project development and implementation history since 2004. Their focus spans various fields: agriculture, water resources, rural development, sustainable natural resources management, climate change, education, and health. This collaboration with DITN marks a significant step in advancing rural education.
“We have roped in Delta IT Network as our technology partner who have delivered the installations using “DeltaView” an innovative flat panel technology for this CSR project in 6 states,” said Mr. Deepak Sharma, Head of Communication, Suvidha NGO.
Advanced Learning with DeltaView
DITN has installed DeltaView, their latest innovative technology in flat panels, designed specifically for smart classrooms. These interactive boards aim to empower teachers and engage students by making learning fun and interactive. DeltaView offers vibrant visuals for collaborative activities, creating a dynamic educational experience that sparks curiosity and fosters growth.
Comprehensive Educational Solutions
In addition to DeltaView, DITN has equipped the schools with various other products to enhance the learning experience. These include green boards, HD cameras, and educational content tailored for classes 1 to 12. The installations span 30 locations across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh, covering Zila Parishad schools.
Speaking to Newsman, Mr. Pankaj Lamba, Project Manager, Delta ITN said - “Each of these 30 locations was set up within 3 months across different states in India. This also included training of staffers for using these educational tools. All the hardware is covered under warranty and shall be maintained by us.”
Beneficiaries of the Program
When asked about the beneficiaries, Mr. Lamba from DITN stated that students from classes 1 to 12, both boys and girls, will benefit from these facilities. The program aims to impart education using digital technology, ensuring a modern learning experience for students across the country.
Technical Requirements and Implementation
According to DITN, the principal requirement for the program included 30 high-end interactive flat panels, each 65 inches in size, from DeltaView. These panels are interfaced with other products to complete the smart classroom solution. DeltaView sits at the heart of each classroom, delivering digital educational programs and transforming traditional teaching methods.
Mr Deepanshu Chauhan, CEO of DITN, said, “The smart class solution is designed to deliver ease, longevity and right value for the young students.With standard warranties and upgraded features, Delta ITN shall run and maintain the sites for 3 years.”
