Delta IT Networks (Delta ITN), a leading IT solutions enterprise based in Delhi NCR, is set to enhance the IT infrastructure of Saatvik Solar‘s two plants in Ambala. The projects, estimated to cost Rs 2 crore, include comprehensive upgrades to data centers, storage, server infrastructure, endpoint security, and package solutions. This collaboration marks a significant leap for Saatvik Solar, India’s premier Solar PV Module manufacturer, in becoming increasingly IT-savvy.
Comprehensive IT Solutions for Saatvik Solar
Delta ITN has successfully completed Saatvik Solar’s first comprehensive IT structure in Ambala, valued at Rs 80 lakhs. Now, the company is focused on upgrading the second plant near Ambala. These combined projects are expected to conclude within six months.
Mr. Vikrant Diwan, Vice President of Delta IT Networks stated, “Delta is more like a consultant than just a system integrator. We have designed their entire IT infrastructure. These include data centre, cloud storage, server and storage, endpoint security, security surveillance with command control room and package solutions.”
“As we all know, PM Narendra Modi is emphasizing solar energy panels and Saatvik has grown more than 10 times in the last three years, if you look at the company’s financial structure,” Vikrant Diwan said.
“We are putting into place an operational data centre, offering them comprehensive IT infra solutions,” he concluded.
Supporting ‘Make in India’ with Advanced IT Infrastructure
Saatvik Solar has seen rapid growth, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emphasis on solar energy. “Saatvik has grown more than 10 times in the last three years, reflecting the company’s robust financial structure,” Diwan noted. Initially, Saatvik’s IT infrastructure was basic, lacking advanced technologies such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM).
Satisfied Clients and Strategic Partnerships
Mr. Deepak Kaul, COO of Saatvik Solar, expressed satisfaction with Delta’s services. “Delta has good tie-ups with global brands. Vikrant and his team have advised us, installed and commissioned the IT systems and have delivered a good solution for our two plants.” Kaul said.
Delta IT Networks has provided not only IT infrastructure but also enhanced physical security at Saatvik’s Ambala factory. The installation includes 200 cameras and a smart access control system to monitor all entries and exits.
Future Prospects and Technical Expertise
Delta IT Networks’ technical partners include Cisco for networking solutions, Sophos for gateway security, Seqrite for endpoint security, Hikvision for CCTV and access control, and HP India for storage and server products. The second plant near Ambala, expected to be operational within the next few months, has a project cost estimated at Rs 1 crore, bringing the total investment to Rs 2 crore.
“Enterprises that automate core business processes typically look at ERP and CRM solutions. ERP connects financial and operational systems to a central database, while CRM manages customer interactions. Delta has provided suitable consultation and installed these operations and cybersecurity systems for Saatvik Solar,” elaborated Diwan.
With Delta IT Networks’ professional services in network and security analytics, managed services, and outsourcing, Saatvik Solar is poised to leverage advanced IT infrastructure to support its growth and commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. This partnership highlights the importance of robust IT solutions in driving innovation and efficiency in the renewable energy sector.
