Cornea gets approval from Government e-Marketplace (GeM) to streamline the process for vendors to participate in tenders across India

Cornea, a renowned technology solutions provider, has achieved a major milestone with its official approval from the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for streamlining the vendor participation process in tenders across India. This collaboration marks a significant step in Cornea’s efforts to enhance efficiency and transparency in government procurement.

GeM’s approval allows Cornea to offer its state-of-the-art display technology solutions and expertise to vendors participating in tenders through the GeM platform. The partnership aims to provide vendors with a seamless experience, helping them navigate the procurement process efficiently and effectively.

After undergoing a rigorous assessment by the Quality Council of India, Cornea has been authorized to appoint dealers and distributors across the country for government tenders. This sets Cornea apart from other brands in the industry, as it is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with manufacturing facilities in India. Unlike mere importers, Cornea has faced challenges in complying with GeM’s evolving regulations, making this collaboration even more significant.

The collaboration between Cornea and GeM not only benefits vendors but also government organizations seeking reliable and innovative solutions. Cornea aims to create a level playing field for vendors and ensure a transparent, efficient, and accessible procurement process. With its extensive network of dealers and distributors, Cornea plans to reach vendors across the country, offering cutting-edge technology solutions, including Televisions, Interactive flat panels, Large format displays, Commercial screens, and more.

As one of the few OEMs based in India, Cornea solidifies its eminent position in the market. To maintain quality standards on the GeM platform, all existing OEMs, including Cornea, will undergo assessment by the Quality Council of India Bureau. This ensures that vendors can trust the products and services offered through the platform, fostering a competitive and reliable marketplace.
