The capability works across several major AI assistants including ChatGPT, OpenClaw, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and Windsurf, enabling traders to interact with the platform using simple conversational prompts.

The launch represents a major step toward agentic trading, where artificial intelligence interprets user intent and automatically performs actions on trading platforms. With the new feature, users can interact with Bybit’s trading infrastructure without traditional interfaces or manual configuration. The system supports 253 API endpoints, allowing AI assistants to execute a wide range of trading and portfolio management functions.
Zero Setup and Universal AI Compatibility
Bybit’s AI Trading Skill is designed to simplify access to automated trading tools. The feature requires no installation or configuration, eliminating the need for Node Package Manager (NPM), Command Line Interface (CLI), Software Development Kits, or additional setup files. The system is compatible with multiple AI platforms and assistants, allowing users to integrate AI-powered trading workflows directly within their preferred tools. Additionally, the feature updates automatically alongside Bybit’s platform updates, ensuring continuous access to the latest capabilities.
Access to Bybit’s Full Trading Ecosystem
Behind the natural language interface lies Bybit’s complete trading infrastructure. The AI Trading Skill integrates six key modules that enable traders to perform a wide range of activities, from retrieving live market data to executing complex trading strategies. Through the 253 API endpoints, users can chain commands, conduct follow-up queries, and manage their portfolios without needing to navigate traditional dashboards.
Market Intelligence and Trading Capabilities
The platform enables users to access real-time market intelligence, including price queries, candlestick chart data, order book depth, and funding rates. Traders can also perform spot trading actions such as market buy or sell orders, limit orders, and batch operations. In derivatives markets, the feature supports leverage trading, conditional orders, and automated take-profit or stop-loss strategies.
Portfolio Management and Advanced Financial Tools
Beyond trading, the system allows users to access wealth management tools such as Flexible Savings and On-Chain Earn programs. Through the account management module, users can check balances, monitor deposits and withdrawals, and perform currency conversions. Advanced functionality includes WebSocket-powered real-time market execution, margin lending, price differential trading, and request-for-quote (RFQ) pricing for options.

The AI Trading Skill builds on Bybit’s earlier AI-driven initiatives, including TradeGPT and other platform-based AI tools that helped users analyze market trends and trading strategies.
