boAt has expanded its wearables portfolio with the launch of the Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2, which the company describes as India’s first smartwatches to feature direct USB Type-C charging support.
The new smartwatches are designed to allow users to charge their devices using the same Type-C cable commonly used for smartphones, laptops, tablets, and power banks. With this launch, boAt aims to reduce dependence on proprietary magnetic charging docks and simplify the smartwatch charging experience through a universal charging solution.
Storm Call 4 Focuses on Everyday Utility and Long Battery Life
The boAt Storm Call 4 has been positioned as an everyday smartwatch offering a balance of convenience and functionality. It features a 1.96-inch HD display with up to 500 nits brightness and includes a functional crown for navigation.
The smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling, IP68-rated dust, sweat, and water resistance, and offers more than 100 sports modes. Health and wellness features include heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, sleep monitoring, stress tracking, emergency SOS functionality, and female wellness tracking.
According to the company, the Storm Call 4 delivers up to 12 days of battery life and supports direct USB Type-C charging.
Ultima Vogue 2 Brings AMOLED Display and Premium Design
The Ultima Vogue 2 is designed as a more premium offering within the lineup. It features a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with brightness levels of up to 1000 nits, aimed at improving visibility in outdoor environments.
The smartwatch comes with a metallic frame design and supports Bluetooth calling, IP68 protection, and direct USB Type-C charging. Similar to the Storm Call 4, it includes over 100 sports modes along with heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, and stress monitoring features.
The device also supports emergency SOS and female wellness tracking. boAt states that the Ultima Vogue 2 can deliver up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge.
Pricing and Availability
The boAt Storm Call 4 has been priced at ₹1,599, while the boAt Ultima Vogue 2 is available at ₹2,799.
Pre-bookings for the Storm Call 4 will begin on boAt’s official website starting May 29, ahead of its commercial launch on June 12 through the company’s website and leading retail platforms.
