BHIVE Workspace, India’s leading provider of shared office spaces, has unveiled its largest co-working facility in the heart of Bengaluru’s central business district on Church Street. This expansion is in response to the surging demand for premium flexible office spaces with cutting-edge amenities in the city. Encompassing an impressive 1.5 lakh square feet, the co-working space boasts nearly 3,500 seats and an extensive food and beverage offering.
The Church Street facility has garnered significant attention across diverse industries, with over 40% of seats already occupied. Its launch was marked by a glamorous event attended by Bollywood star and former Miss India Neha Dhupia, renowned international pianist Irina Galkina, India’s top female DJ, DJ Rink, celebrated designer Rajesh Shetty, and international fashion designer Nags C. International models graced the occasion, showcasing stunning designs from renowned fashion houses.
This Church Street facility becomes BHIVE’s largest property in the central business district of Bengaluru and the fourth largest in its portfolio, following HSR, BTM, and Whitefield campuses. The demand for premium co-working spaces in central business districts is on the rise in Bengaluru, driven by prime location benefits, excellent connectivity, and robust social infrastructure. According to a CII-Anarock report titled ‘Workplaces of the Future,’ the co-working market is poised to double in size over the next five years, growing at a CAGR of 15%.

Shesh Paplikar, Founder and CEO of BHIVE Workspace, commented on the launch, saying, “The coworking industry in India is at an inflection point with the rapid proliferation of such facilities across the industry and occupiers across sectors actively taking up spaces. BHIVE, as a frontrunner in the industry, understands the need for premium spaces which cater to the nuanced and evolving requirements of our occupiers with respect to an elevated level of services. The launch of our Church Street facility in the central business district of Bengaluru will cater to these needs while also setting new benchmarks in the industry. We are quite bullish on our premiumisation vision and are looking to add another 8,000-10,000 seats over the course of the next 3-5 months increasing our base from 1.5 to around 2 mil sq. ft.”
With this latest addition, BHIVE’s co-working portfolio now spans 1.5 million square feet, offering over 45,000 seats across Bengaluru, India’s startup hub.
