ASUS IoT, a leader in AIoT solutions, has announced the release of two new products: the Tinker System 3N and Tinker Board 3. These devices, built around Arm®-based architectures, are designed to meet the growing demand for industrial and IoT applications. With advanced AI capabilities and rugged designs, these products are set to transform industries like smart retail, factory automation, healthcare, and more.
Tinker System 3N: Industrial-Grade Embedded Computer
The Tinker System 3N is a fanless, embedded computer powered by a quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor (Rockchip RK3568) and an Arm M-based Mali™-G52 GPU. Optimized for industrial environments, it is built to meet US MIL‑STD‑810H military-grade standards, offering shock and vibration resistance. Its robust design includes an extruded aluminum chassis, ensuring stable operation in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 60°C.
Designed for versatility, the Tinker System 3N features customizable I/O ports to adapt quickly to diverse industrial applications such as smart factories, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and outdoor kiosks. It supports a wide 12V-24V input range and is equipped with protections against over-voltage, over-current, and electrostatic discharge.
Tinker Board 3: Compact SBC with Advanced AI Capabilities
The Tinker Board 3 is a compact single-board computer (SBC) designed for IoT and smart retail applications. Powered by the 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor (Rockchip RK3566) and Mali-G52 GPU, the board excels in graphics performance and data security. This SBC integrates a comprehensive software-development kit (SDK) for rapid deployment across various verticals, such as digital signage, self-service kiosks, and medical devices.
Similar to its counterpart, the Tinker Board 3 features an integrated NPU for handling AI-based tasks, including object detection, face recognition, and speech processing.
Integrated Software and Hardware Solutions
Both the Tinker System 3N and Tinker Board 3 come equipped with integrated software and hardware features to deliver a comprehensive solution. The SDK includes GPIO API integration, facilitating easier development for a range of applications. These devices also support over-the-air (OTA) updates for continuous optimization, power scheduling to enhance energy efficiency, and USB device power management to ensure long-term durability.
