Apple Music Classical App Now Accessible for Android Users

Apple has launched the Apple Music Classical app for Android users, making it available before its release on iPads and Mac devices. Android users can now download the app from the Google Play Store and enjoy classical music with an active Apple Music subscription.

The Apple Music Classical app, originally introduced on iOS in March 2023, offers a specialized platform for classical music enthusiasts. With its ad-free streaming and high-quality 192 kHz / 24-bit lossless audio, along with support for Dolby Atmos spatial audio, the app provides an immersive listening experience. It boasts an extensive collection of over five million tracks, encompassing vocals and instrumentals, establishing itself as one of the largest libraries in the classical music genre.

The Apple Music Classical app allows users to conveniently search for specific recordings based on composer, work, conductor, or catalogue number, enabling easy access to desired pieces. Alongside the timeless classics composed by renowned figures like Beethoven, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky, the app continuously updates its library with new releases from emerging musicians, ensuring a dynamic and diverse collection of classical music for its users.

Availability:

The Apple Music Classical app is compatible with all Apple Music subscriptions, except for the Apple Music Voice Plan. It is accessible in most markets where the main Apple Music service is available, with the exception of China, Japan, Korea, Russia, and Taiwan.

For Android users, the Apple Music Classical app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and is compatible with Android phones running Android 9 (Pie) or later. However, availability for Mac and iPad users is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
