Altimetrik, a leading digital business company, has announced the promotion of Ranga Kanapathy to the role of Global Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering & Technology. Previously serving as Chief Transformation Officer for APAC and Chief Delivery Officer, Kanapathy will continue to report to the company’s CEO, Raj Sundaresan.

In his new role, Kanapathy will oversee Altimetrik’s global delivery centers spanning the USA, Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. His focus will be on driving technological innovation, scaling operations, and ensuring customer success for over 200 client companies worldwide. By strengthening Altimetrik’s engineering and technology capabilities, he aims to deliver measurable digital business outcomes and foster growth in emerging markets, including the rapidly expanding APAC region.
Leadership Excellence and Impact
Since joining Altimetrik in 2017, Kanapathy has been instrumental in establishing the India Technology Center, which now comprises over 4,500 professionals. Under his leadership, the company has developed specialized practice centers in Cloud, Agile, DevSecOps, Data Engineering and Analytics, AI, and Product Engineering. These efforts have contributed to significant revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and the company’s recognition as a leader in digital transformation.
A Career Marked by Innovation
With over 25 years of experience, Kanapathy has held senior leadership positions at global organizations such as eBay-PayPal, VISA, Mattel, Fisher Price, Esurance.com, and Computer Software Corporation. In addition, he has co-founded two startups in India, delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to large enterprises.
An advocate for innovation, Kanapathy is also an active mentor and serves on the boards of several startups, contributing to the broader technology ecosystem.
