Airtel Xstream Play Surpasses 5 Million Paid Subscribers making it the Fastest-growing OTT aggregator in India

Bharti Airtel, one of India’s prominent telecommunications service providers, proudly announced that its video streaming service, Airtel Xstream Play, has achieved a significant milestone by crossing over five million paid subscribers in October. The achievement has solidified its claims of being the fastest-growing OTT aggregator in India.

Airtel Xstream Play is renowned for offering India’s most extensive collection of OTT content, all consolidated within a single app. Subscribers gain access to premium content from various partners, including Sony LIV, Lionsgate Play, Chaupal, Hoichoi, FanCode, ManoramaMax, ShemarooMe, Alt Balaji, Ultra, ErosNow, EPICon, Docubay, Playflix, and more. With a minimum recharge of Rs. 148, users can enjoy an extensive library of over 40,000 movies and shows from 20 content partners through the Airtel Xstream app.

Airtel Xstream Play helps bring together the largest selection of premium OTT apps under one app and one price. We recently added Alt Balaji, Fancode, and Playflix, bringing us still closer to our ambition of having the widest selection of premium content and twenty million subscribers.”

A diverse array of series, movies, and sporting content has captivated users on the platform. Notably, 47% of the time spent on the platform has been dedicated to series like “Scam 2003” and “Scam 1992,” with movies closely following at 37%, featuring regional blockbusters such as “Carry on Jatta” (Punjabi), “Por Thozhil” (Tamil), and “Voice of Sathyanathan” (Malayalam). Sporting content has also emerged as a fan favorite, with the Asian Games and the bilateral cricket series between Australia and South Africa garnering substantial attention.
