Acer has announced the release of its new Vero projectors, which aim to combine outstanding home entertainment experiences with a commitment to environmental sustainability. The two new models, Acer Vero HL6810 and Acer Vero HL6810ATV, feature 4K UHD resolution and HDR10 compatibility, delivering stunning visuals and enhanced brightness with 4000 ANSI lumens from their innovative laser/LED hybrid light source.
High-Performance with Environmental Responsibility
In keeping with the Vero line’s dedication to sustainability, these new laser projectors are designed to use less power without compromising performance. They offer long-lasting brightness consistency with up to a 30,000-hour lifespan. The hybrid light source is completely mercury-free, and the devices incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in their chassis and use recycled paper for packaging.
Acer Vero HL68 Series: Cinematic Viewing and Gaming in 4K
The new Acer Vero HL6810 and Acer Vero HL6810ATV projectors bring the cinematic experience home with 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) resolution and 4000 ANSI lumens brightness. The laser/LED hybrid light source ensures crystal-clear images and vibrant colors, even in well-lit environments. The projectors boast a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and cover 105% of the Rec. 709 color gamut for precise color accuracy. With HDR10/HLG compatibility, these models produce a wide range of color and brightness, enhancing all types of content. Additionally, Acer’s Football mode optimizes scenes projected on larger surfaces, making them appear more realistic and vivid.
Android TV Features for Enhanced Entertainment
The Vero HL6810ATV model includes an embedded Android TV dongle, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. This smart projector provides direct access to popular streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube, without the need for external devices. It can be controlled via voice-activated prompts with a dedicated remote or smartphone.
Supporting 4K UHD resolution, these projectors offer exceptional visual fidelity. The 1.3x zoom capability and HV keystone and 4-corner correction technology provide flexibility in different viewing spaces. The IP5X rating protects against potential damage from external factors, and Acer BlueLight Shield technology reduces the negative effects of blue light exposure on viewers’ eyes. Power saving mode and instant-on/off features further support energy efficiency.
