The company has successfully developed a Multi-purpose Air Pollution Reducing Device called ‘POLRED.’ This device has been proven to reduce air pollution, gases, and particulate matter significantly. Below is an excerpt from a recent interaction between Mizra Arif of Mirza Inventions and team fyi9.com.
Prateek: Tell me your business model for the year 2023.
Mirza Arif: I am an inventor by passion and profession. I have devised a multipurpose device- POLRED, that can reduce air pollution and heat to a large extent. The prototype is ready and we are approaching government nodal agencies for ground-level test/pilot orders, especially for power plant chimneys, public transport buses, metro trains, Indian railways (trains) & airports. Simultaneously we are seeking investors or VCs for the implementation of DG set up to 800KW and air purifier for Indoor purposes.
Prateek: How does your device work against air pollution?
Mirza Arif: After consistently focusing my research and efforts in this direction and tirelessly improving upon my innovation, I have been able to invent a Multi-purpose Air Pollution & Heat Reducing Device, named “POLRED” that has proven to reduce air pollution, gases, and particulate matter to a significant level, as per NPL-CSIR report.
It can reduce the SO2, CO, NO2, and CO2 emissions of coal/chimney devices, and diesel engines, and tackle Air/Floor Pollutants up to a great extent. NPL- CSIR has tested the collection efficiency of the device against coal burning, diesel combustion emissions & environmental Air. The results suggest that in the case of a diesel engine, the device is efficient in collecting gases and particulate matter.
Prateek: How is your technology or filters contributing to climate change?
Mirza Arif: The POLRED not only reduces air pollution in the form of ultra-fine particles like PM2.5, and PM10 but also harmful gasses like CO, CO2, SO2, and NO2. PLORED successfully reduces the heat /temperature of any engine, exhaust pipe, and all types of chimneys. The international patents certificate has named it a ‘Multipurpose air pollution and heat reducing device’. With the reduction in pollution and heat, POLRED will emerge as the perfect solution to air pollution at coal power plants, from chimney devices and air pollution in general.
Prateek: Are your devices available to the local public?
Mirza Arif: The prototype is ready, and we are in the process of manufacturing them in large quantities so that POLRED can reach businesses as well as individual homes, where people want to control the air pollution in their homes.
Prateek: What is your marketing strategy for this year?
Mirza Arif: I am an innovator, and I am trying to give the manufacturing rights & technology transfer to an industrialist who can manufacture and market POLRED. In the end, I want to make new products that will help solve more problems and remain an innovator while others can focus on the business aspect of it.
