Sectigo has announced the launch of Sectigo Quantum Ready, a cryptographic discovery and quantum readiness solution designed to help enterprises identify and map cryptographic assets and dependencies across their environments.
The solution is designed to help organisations assess their Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) risk exposure, prioritise quantum migration planning and accelerate crypto agility. With the launch, Sectigo is also entering the emerging Quantum Security Posture Management (QSPM) space.
Sectigo Quantum Ready is positioned to help organisations move from quantum awareness towards ongoing action and build continuous quantum readiness as cryptographic technologies and standards evolve.
Enterprises Face Growing Pressure to Prepare for PQC
Governments, standards bodies and major technology providers are accelerating efforts around PQC migration. This is increasing pressure on IT teams to understand where vulnerable cryptography exists within their organisations, what risks it creates and what changes may be required over time.
A key challenge is discovering cryptographic assets across complex IT environments. Organisations cannot effectively protect or replace cryptography that they cannot identify.
Sectigo says quantum readiness therefore needs to go beyond a one-time assessment. Instead, it needs to become an ongoing operational process as cryptographic standards, technologies and threats continue to evolve.
Sectigo Quantum Ready Creates a Cryptographic Bill of Materials
Sectigo Quantum Ready helps enterprises create a Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM). This provides visibility into where cryptography is being used, the systems and services that depend on it and areas where quantum exposure could create security risks.
The solution evaluates cryptographic exposure based on factors including business criticality, data sensitivity, dependencies and migration complexity.
This assessment is designed to help organisations determine which areas require attention first and develop a more practical approach to managing their quantum migration.
Sectigo Expands into Quantum Security Posture Management
Sectigo Quantum Ready forms part of Sectigo’s broader Quantum Security Posture Management (QSPM) approach.
The approach combines cryptographic discovery, risk prioritisation and Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) to help organisations manage cryptographic change.
While Sectigo Quantum Ready provides discovery and risk assessment capabilities, Sectigo Certificate Manager, the company’s flagship CLM platform, provides lifecycle automation and orchestration for executing cryptographic changes at scale.
Discover Cryptographic Assets and Quantum Exposure
The first part of Sectigo’s approach focuses on discovering cryptographic assets, dependencies and potential PQC exposure across an organisation’s environment.
By identifying where cryptography exists and how different systems depend on it, organisations can gain a clearer understanding of their current cryptographic landscape.
Plan a Practical Quantum Migration Path
The next stage focuses on prioritising identified risks and developing a migration path.
Sectigo’s approach considers factors such as business impact and migration complexity to help organisations determine where migration efforts should be focused.
Manage and Adapt Cryptographic Change
The final stage focuses on executing and governing cryptographic change while continuously adapting to developments in technology, standards and security threats.
Through the combination of Sectigo Quantum Ready and Sectigo Certificate Manager, the company is positioning its QSPM approach to help enterprises move from discovering cryptographic risks to managing changes across their environments.
Sectigo Targets Continuous Quantum Readiness
With Sectigo Quantum Ready, the company is positioning quantum readiness as an ongoing process rather than a one-time assessment.
The solution is designed to give enterprises visibility into cryptographic assets, help them prioritise quantum-related risks and support planning for migration, while its broader QSPM approach aims to help organisations manage cryptographic change as requirements continue to evolve.
Leadership Comment
“The industry is moving beyond conversations about algorithms and toward the operational challenge of managing PQC readiness at enterprise scale. The hardest part of that transition is knowing where cryptography lives, what depends on it and how to change it without disrupting the business,” said Ian Hassard, Chief Product Officer at Sectigo. “As organizations move from awareness to action in their quantum journey, they need more than guidance alone. Sectigo Quantum Ready™ gives enterprises the visibility, context, and evidence needed to build a prioritized action plan for post-quantum readiness.”
“Entering the Quantum Security Posture Management space is a natural next step for Sectigo and a natural evolution of our leadership in digital trust,” said Kevin Weiss, Chief Executive Officer at Sectigo. “We have been building toward this position for some time through practical innovations such as Sectigo PQC Labs and Private PQC in Sectigo Certificate Manager. As market attention around PQC and crypto agility accelerates, we are expanding that vision to help define how organizations approach continuous quantum readiness and long-term crypto agility. Sectigo Quantum Ready™ is a clear example of Simplicity at Scale in action. As cryptographic environments become increasingly complex, the way forward needs to remain simple.”
