RiskProfiler, a digital risk protection and external threat intelligence platform, has launched KnyX Autonomous Investigations, a new solution designed to automate the investigation, validation, and policy-driven response to external cyber threats.
The company is showcasing the new capability at Black Hat USA and will also demonstrate it at DEF CON 34 in Las Vegas.
Designed to Reduce Manual Security Investigations
Security teams are increasingly dealing with large volumes of alerts, including look-alike and typosquatted domains, leaked credentials, phishing websites, vendor breach notifications, and threat intelligence feeds. While detection tools continue to generate alerts, investigating each incident often requires significant manual effort, slowing response times.
KnyX Autonomous Investigations is designed to streamline this process through an automated workflow that moves from Alert → Investigate → Verdict → Remediate. AI agents collect evidence similar to a human analyst, generate confidence-scored findings, and can automatically initiate remediation based on customer-defined security policies.
AI Agents with Transparent Decision-Making
Unlike systems that rely entirely on generative AI responses, KnyX uses structured and deterministic investigation workflows. Every investigation is backed by schema-validated evidence and a detailed audit trail, helping organisations review, verify, and reproduce investigation results when required.
Policy-Based Automation with Human Oversight
RiskProfiler says the platform is designed to balance automation with governance. Organisations can define how remediation actions are handled, whether they are executed automatically, sent for approval, or disabled entirely.
Credential validation is performed only for verified customer-owned domains and authorised identity providers, while vendor breach claims are cross-verified using multiple trusted sources before any action is initiated.
Each investigation records evidence, execution history, inputs, outputs, and the versions of AI agents involved, providing a complete audit trail for compliance and governance purposes.
Five Autonomous Investigation Agents at Launch
At launch, KnyX Autonomous Investigations includes AI agents for leaked credential investigation with policy-based password resets, look-alike and typosquatted domain analysis, live phishing page investigation and evidence collection, vendor breach validation and exposure assessment, and threat intelligence filtering based on an organisation’s technology stack, vendors, and overall risk environment.
These agents are designed to validate compromised credentials, prepare evidence for phishing takedowns, verify reported breaches, and prioritise threat intelligence relevant to an organisation’s infrastructure.
Availability
KnyX Autonomous Investigation Agents are now available for RiskProfiler customers.
RiskProfiler’s founding team will be present at Black Hat USA from August 1 to August 6 and DEF CON 34 from August 6 to August 9 in Las Vegas, where the company will conduct live demonstrations of all five autonomous investigation agents.
