TEMPT has launched the ICY Instant Cooling Portable Fan, a compact personal cooling device designed to provide relief from rising temperatures through an integrated chiller technology.
The new portable fan combines airflow with an advanced cooling plate designed to deliver cooling sensations of up to 18°C. According to the company, the device is aimed at users looking for a portable cooling solution while commuting, travelling, working, exercising, shopping, or attending outdoor events.
Chiller Technology Delivers Instant Cooling
At the heart of the ICY portable fan is a semiconductor cooling plate that can frost up to 18°C within seconds of activation. The company states that the cooling plate creates an immediate cooling sensation when placed against the skin, offering rapid relief from high temperatures.
The dedicated Chiller Mode is designed to provide up to 10 hours of continuous cooling, making the device suitable for extended use throughout the day.
Up to 12 Hours of Battery Life
The ICY is powered by a 4,000mAh rechargeable lithium battery and offers up to 12 hours of runtime on a single charge, depending on usage settings.
Users can choose from four airflow levels, with battery performance ranging from approximately 12 hours on the lowest setting to around 3 hours on the highest speed. When used with Chiller Mode at lower fan speeds, the device can provide up to 10 hours of operation.
Quiet Performance and High-Speed Airflow
TEMPT has equipped the ICY with a brushless motor capable of operating at speeds exceeding 14,000 RPM. Despite its performance, the company claims the fan operates at noise levels below 20dB, making it suitable for environments such as offices, study rooms, bedrooms, and public transport.
The combination of high airflow and low-noise operation is intended to provide cooling without causing distractions during daily activities.
Smart Controls and Fast Charging Support
The portable fan features an LED display that shows battery levels, fan speed settings, and cooling mode information in real time.
Users can control the device through a single-button interface that allows them to adjust fan speeds and activate the cooling plate. The ICY also supports Type-C fast charging and can be fully recharged in approximately 90 minutes using a laptop, wall charger, power bank, or car charger.
Compact Design for Everyday Portability
Designed for mobility, the ICY features a compact six-inch form factor and lightweight construction. The device comes with a matte-finish body, an ergonomic grip, a carrying lanyard, and a travel pouch for convenient transportation.
