EBG Group, one of India’s rapidly expanding multi-sector business conglomerates, has officially inaugurated Vajram Electric, an integrated manufacturing, assembly, and distribution platform in Hyderabad. The new facility is expected to generate over 450 direct and indirect employment opportunities while reinforcing India’s domestic manufacturing ecosystem and strengthening integrated supply chains.
The project has been launched with an initial investment of ₹25 crore, with additional investments planned during future expansion phases. The facility is currently spread across 25,000 sq. ft. and is expected to scale up to 50,000 sq. ft. within the next year, supporting production requirements across 11 business verticals under the EBG Group umbrella.
Vajram Electric to Serve as a Unified Manufacturing Platform Across 11 Verticals
Vajram Electric has been designed as a centralized production and logistics hub supporting EBG Group’s diversified operations. The facility will cater to multiple sectors including electric mobility, rehabilitation technology, consumer electronics, construction, food and beverage infrastructure, and sustainable hospitality.
Located along Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, the company currently operates an advanced assembly facility integrated with warehousing capabilities, enabling streamlined manufacturing processes, improved scalability, and faster product deployment.
The integrated setup is expected to optimize operations by bringing multiple production requirements under a unified ecosystem, helping reduce operational complexities while improving efficiency across business segments.
Capacity Expansion and Automation to Drive Future Growth
The upgraded manufacturing platform has been engineered to significantly enhance production capabilities and address increasing domestic demand. EBG Group stated that future investments will focus on automation, capacity enhancement, and systems integration, enabling improved production efficiency and faster turnaround times.
The phased investment strategy is also intended to ensure consistent quality standards across multiple product categories, while positioning the company to build export-ready manufacturing capabilities for international markets.
National Logistics Network to Strengthen Supply Chain Efficiency
Vajram Electric’s manufacturing operations are supported by an expanding logistics infrastructure across India. The company currently operates logistics hubs in Ludhiana, Pune, and Ahmedabad, while a fourth facility in Manesar is expected to become operational soon.
This growing logistics ecosystem is integrated with a multi-channel distribution strategy, combining e-commerce operations with an expanding offline retail presence. The approach aims to strengthen market reach, improve last-mile delivery capabilities, and accelerate product availability across regions.
Expansion Aligns With India’s Manufacturing and EV Ambitions
The launch of Vajram Electric comes at a time when India is accelerating efforts to strengthen domestic manufacturing, electric vehicle ecosystems, and supply chain localization. The initiative aligns with broader industry trends focused on reducing import dependency and creating globally competitive manufacturing infrastructure.
Through its integrated multi-brand production model, EBG Group has set an ambitious target of capturing nearly 10% of India’s EV manufacturing market within the next five years, signaling its long-term commitment to scaling manufacturing capabilities and expanding its presence in the country’s evolving industrial landscape.
EBG Group Bets on Integrated Manufacturing for Long-Term Growth
With expanding infrastructure, increased automation investments, and a growing logistics network, EBG Group’s Vajram Electric initiative reflects a broader strategy aimed at creating a centralized manufacturing ecosystem capable of supporting multiple industries simultaneously. The development is expected to strengthen operational efficiencies while contributing to employment generation and India’s manufacturing growth trajectory.
