Acer India has launched the new Acer Iconia 5G tablet lineup in India, expanding its Android tablet portfolio with a focus on productivity, entertainment, and high-speed connectivity. Designed for professionals, students, creators, and everyday users, the new series combines a sleek form factor with advanced hardware and support for accessories such as stylus pens and keyboard covers.
MediaTek Processor with Built-in AI Capabilities
The Acer Iconia 5G tablets are powered by the MediaTek MT8791 processor and run on Android 15. The chipset combines Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores to deliver smooth multitasking, responsive app performance, and efficient power management. Acer has also integrated a dedicated AI Processing Unit capable of delivering up to 2.6 TOPS, enabling faster AI-driven experiences and improved on-device intelligence for modern applications.
Large 2.2K Display Designed for Productivity and Creativity
The tablet features an 11.45-inch 2.2K IPS display with a resolution of 1440 × 2200 and brightness of up to 450 nits. The in-cell touch panel enhances responsiveness while also supporting precise stylus input, making the device suitable for note-taking, sketching, editing, and digital design work.
The tablet comes equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, with support for expandable storage up to 1TB via microSD, ensuring sufficient capacity for applications, multimedia, and productivity workloads.
5G Connectivity and Enhanced Multimedia Experience
Connectivity is one of the major highlights of the Iconia 5G series, with support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS functionality. The device is designed to deliver stable and fast connectivity across different environments, supporting work, entertainment, and communication on the go.
For imaging and communication, the tablet includes an 8MP front camera along with a 16MP rear camera paired with a 2MP macro sensor. A fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button provides quick and secure biometric authentication.
The multimedia experience is further enhanced through stereo speakers designed for immersive audio during video streaming, gaming, and virtual meetings.
Long Battery Life with Accessory Support
The Acer Iconia 5G tablet is powered by a 7400mAh battery with support for PD fast charging up to 9V/2A, enabling extended usage with reduced downtime. Acer has also included support for productivity accessories such as an active stylus with 4096 pressure levels and a keyboard cover connected through a POGO pin interface, allowing the tablet to function as a portable workstation.
Additional sensors including a gyroscope, compass, light sensor, proximity sensor, and G-sensor further improve navigation and usability across different applications and workflows.
Pricing and Availability Iconia 5G Tablet
The Acer Iconia Tablet iM11 starts at ₹25,499 and will be available through Acer exclusive stores, Acer’s online store, Amazon, and Flipkart.
