His career has been defined by building and scaling global sales organizations, leading complex enterprise engagements, and driving outcome-led managed services across diverse markets and partner ecosystems. His appointment underscores Denave’s focus on strengthening strategic sales leadership to support its next phase of global growth.
Proven Track Record in Business Transformation
Before joining Denave, Subir played a pivotal role in the transformation journey at First Meridian Global Services, where he served as Senior Vice President – Strategic Businesses and led the Value Business vertical. Over more than six years, he focused on integrating people, products, processes, and technology to deliver measurable outcomes across large, multi-market programs.
Earlier in his career, Subir held senior leadership roles at Ingram Micro, AMD, and HCL. These roles helped him build deep expertise across enterprise sales, partner ecosystems, distribution-led growth, and large-scale customer engagements. His leadership experience spans India and Bangladesh, with hands-on responsibility for multi-country operations, sizable P&Ls, and complex enterprise deals.

At Denave, Subir will focus on strengthening global strategy, sales, and marketing functions, sharpening go-to-market execution, deepening customer and partner relationships, and supporting the company’s expansion across international markets. Subir Mahapatra is an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode, where he completed a Management Development Program. He also serves as an Honorary Professor of Practice at the School of Leadership, KIIT, Odisha, reflecting his continued engagement with leadership development and industry-academia collaboration.
