Ambrane Invests ₹50 Crore to Strengthen India Manufacturing Footprint

Ambrane, the home-grown consumer electronics and wearables brand, has commenced operations at its new 83,000 sq. ft. automated manufacturing facility in Kundli, Haryana, following an investment of ₹50 crore. The new facility marks a major milestone in Ambrane’s automation-led expansion strategy and significantly boosts its production capabilities, increasing overall manufacturing capacity by 200%.

New Facility Enables Entry into IT Peripherals and Small Appliances

With this expansion, Ambrane is set to diversify beyond its core mobile accessories portfolio and enter new electronics categories, including IT peripherals and small home appliances. The modular and automation-ready design of the plant allows rapid category expansion while supporting advanced product development through SMT lines, automated assembly stations, and real-time quality monitoring systems.

Strong Market Leadership and Pan-India Presence

Ambrane has sold over 40 million products in India and currently holds the No. 1 position in the power bank category, while also ranking among the country’s leading wearable brands. The company operates through a robust nationwide network of over 10,000 dealers across 20 states and more than 100 Tier II and Tier III cities. Its products are widely available on major e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, JioMart, Croma, and others, reinforcing its strong pan-India footprint built over the last 13 years.

Automation-Driven Scale-Up and Employment Generation

Planned automation upgrades at the new facility are expected to push production towards its full installed capacity of 15 lakh units per month. The plant has already generated employment for more than 600 workers from nearby regions, with additional hiring planned across R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing functions. Ambrane has also initiated skill-development programmes focused on automated manufacturing, quality checks, and process control to future-proof its workforce as operations scale.

Expanding Product Portfolio and Global Ambitions

In addition to scaling output for existing categories such as wearables, audio products, power banks, and charging accessories, Ambrane is preparing to enter new segments like IT accessories and small appliances, including air purifiers. As the brand continues to expand its international presence across 17 countries, the new facility further strengthens Ambrane’s position as a Made-in-India success story competing confidently with global players.

Reinforcing India’s Role in Global Electronics Manufacturing

Through sustained investments in automation, R&D, and quality-driven manufacturing, Ambrane continues to demonstrate the growing capability of Indian brands to deliver innovation at scale. The new Haryana facility underscores the company’s long-term commitment to domestic manufacturing while positioning it for accelerated growth in both Indian and global markets.
