Delta IT Network Launches India’s First AI-Inspired HP BYOD Portal for Galgotias University Students

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Delta IT Network, HP, and Galgotias University have introduced India’s first AI-inspired Buy Your Own Device (BYOD) portal. This initiative allows students to seamlessly explore and purchase HP’s latest AI-powered laptops, ensuring access to cutting-edge technology throughout their academic journey.

Revolutionizing Student Tech Access

For students, accessing global tech brands like HP has often been a challenge. The newly launched BYOD portal, designed by Delta IT Network, simplifies this process by offering a dedicated platform where Galgotias University students can browse, compare, and purchase HP laptops with a four-year warranty. This ensures that students have uninterrupted access to high-performance machines tailored for their coursework.

Speaking on the initiative, Delta IT Network emphasized how the BYOD portal gives Galgotias University a competitive edge, ensuring that students receive high-quality, AI-powered HP devices at the best prices.

A Strategic Partnership for Digital Transformation

This initiative is part of Galgotias University’s GScale program, executed by Delta IT Network, the university’s primary IT technology partner. With a longstanding relationship built on trust and innovation, Delta IT Network will manage the entire inventory, logistics, supply chain, and maintenance of the BYOD portal.

Explaining the platform’s functionality, Delta IT Network stated that each student must register using their personal details, academic credentials, semester, and batch information, ensuring a secure and seamless purchasing experience.

Driving Growth in the EdTech Sector

Last year, Delta IT Network supplied HP computing products worth ₹10 crore for Galgotias University’s AI learning facilities. With over 15,000 new admissions each year, the company anticipates generating ₹20 crore in revenue through the portal. Looking ahead, Delta IT Network plans to expand this model to other top universities across India.

Beyond BYOD, the company is also focusing on AI-driven learning solutions. It aims to set up AI labs in universities across India in collaboration with Intel and other leading brands, with an expected revenue of ₹50 crore in the education sector in the upcoming fiscal year.

Delta IT Network’s Innovation in EdTech

Delta IT Network continues to expand its multi-domain technology offerings, including compute products, power solutions, cloud and cybersecurity products, servers, and storage solutions. Additionally, its EdTech innovation, DeltaView, an interactive display brand, has gained recognition under the Make in India initiative.

With a strong focus on digitizing education and enhancing student experiences, Delta IT Network is setting new benchmarks in AI-powered learning solutions and is poised for significant growth in the Indian education technology market.

Leadership Quotes

“The idea behind this portal emerged from discussions between Delta IT Network, Hewlett Packard (HP), and the Galgotia’s University management on developing an active learning ecosystem for students. This ecosystem requires every student to have a high-end computing device, which will be a mandatory part of their educational journey for four years,” said Deepanshu Chauhan, CEO of Delta IT Network.

“That was our primary concern, and this portal is the outcome of those discussions,”

“This initiative saves students from spending money on inappropriate products at higher prices. HP operates on a purchase order (PO) basis, meaning laptops are produced only after an order is placed. This is where Delta IT Network steps in,”

“Students will also feel a sense of support, knowing that their university has invested in this portal to enhance their education and overall learning experience” “This initiative is set to be a long-term project, with continuous laptop purchases each academic year driven by new student admissions,” Chauhan concluded.

Speaking to the media, Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, said, “Every student will be identified through their enrollment number. They can visit the portal and place an order right away. They will get the latest AI PC at market-leading prices. This not only ensures smart buying for students but also makes sure students don’t fall into traps of the local market.”

Keval Kumar, HP Project Manager, added, “HP’s new-generation AI machines are sturdy and durable, making them ideal for India’s youth.”
