HUAWEI, a global technology giant, has officially unveiled its HUAWEI Nova 12 Series , focusing on delivering an enhanced selfie experience and high-end specifications across three distinct models: the nova 12, nova 12 Pro, and nova 12 Ultra. Each variant offers unique features, catering to diverse user preferences.
Display and Design Differentiation:
The nova 12 boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, providing users with a vibrant and smooth visual experience. On the other hand, the Pro and Ultra models elevate the display quality with a 6.7-inch 1-120 Hz LTPO OLED panel, featuring 2160 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming support for enhanced brightness control.
To distinguish the nova 12 Ultra, HUAWEI has introduced an integrated plain leather embossing design on the back, prominently displaying the ‘nova’ logo. In contrast, the other models feature a glass back design with an embedded cherry blossom pattern, adding a touch of elegance.
Selfie-Focused Features:
The nova 12 series incorporates HUAWEI’s da Vinci portrait engine, specially designed for capturing high-definition selfies. Users can choose from three distinct modes – native, texture, and finish – to achieve personalized and stunning selfie shots. Notably, the Pro and Ultra models feature dual front-facing cameras, including a 60MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus and an 8MP portrait close-up camera.
Performance and SoC:
While HUAWEI has not officially disclosed the SoC for the nova 12 series, reports suggest that the nova 12, nova 12 Pro, and nova 12 Ultra models are equipped with Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC, Kirin 8000, and Kirin 9000SL (down-clocked Kirin 9000s) chipsets, respectively.
