Japanese multinational Casio has launched its latest G-Shock watch that takes inspiration from NASA’s spacesuits. The watch not only copies the color but has some of the features of the spacesuits.
The attractive watch copies the signature orange color of NASA’s spacesuit. Astronauts were spacesuits while going on space missions. The watch copies some of the features of the iconic suits.
Iconic design
The dial color is black which is inspired by the black visor of the helmets of the spacesuits of the astronauts. You will find an American flag design on the band loop of the watch giving it a unique touch. On the flip side, the back of the casing has Astronaut engraved on it. The dial has a thin blue line that imitates the blue accents of the spacesuit.
Casio G-Shock Watch: Battery life
The battery life of the watch adds another attraction to it. Casio claims that the watch can go up to 10 months in a single charge under standard conditions. While on standby mode it can go up to 22 months. The amazing battery life is attributed to tough solar technology and multi-band 6-band atomic timekeeping.
