Is your iPhone 15 overheating during charging? Here is what could be the reason.

Many users have been complaining about the overheating of the newly launched iPhone 15. Apple has reportedly warned iPhone 15 users not to use Android USB-C chargers to charge their devices. The company says that using third-party chargers could cause overheating issues.

Apple is expected to switch to USB-C charging for the iPhone 15, but the company is reportedly requiring third-party chargers to be certified by Apple before they can be used with the iPhone.

The warning from Apple comes amid reports that some iPhone 15 users who have been using Android USB-C chargers have experienced overheating issues.

In a statement to a popular tech website, Apple said: We recommend that customers use genuine Apple or MFi-certified chargers and cables to charge their iPhone. Using third-party chargers and cables may not be compatible with your iPhone and could cause performance issues or damage to your device.

It is unclear exactly why Apple is warning users not to use Android USB-C chargers. It is possible that the company is concerned about the quality of third-party chargers, or that it is worried that third-party chargers could not provide enough power to the iPhone 15.

Whatever the reason, the warning from Apple is a reminder to users that they should only use genuine Apple or MFi-certified chargers and cables with their iPhone.

What should iPhone 15 users do?

If you are planning to buy an iPhone 15, it is important to make sure that you have a genuine Apple or MFi-certified charger and cable. You can purchase these chargers and cables from the Apple website or from Apple retail stores.

If you are already using an iPhone 15 and you are experiencing overheating issues, you should stop using the Android USB-C charger that you are currently using and switch to a genuine Apple or MFi-certified charger and cable.

You can also check the temperature of your iPhone 15 by going to Settings > Battery > Battery Health. If the temperature of your iPhone 15 is above 95 degrees Fahrenheit, you should stop using it and let it cool down before using it again.

If you are still having overheating issues with your iPhone 15, you should contact Apple support for assistance.
